Fudgy Chickpea Brownies

Fudgy Chickpea Brownies Recipe

Satisfy that sweet tooth with a healthy alternative to sugar filled regular brownies.

Fudgy Chickpea Brownies 🤌🏻

Ingredients: 👇🏼

  • 350g of Canned Chickpeas 
  • 1 Tea Spoon of Baking Powder
  • 1 Tea Spoon of Baking Soda
  • 180g Honey
  • 60g Peanut Butter 
  • Splash of Almond Milk 
  • 50g Oat Flour
  • 50g Almond Flour
  • 2 Scoops of Protein Powder ( using @revolutionnutrition CODE: RNMARTINA 🩷)
  • 1/2 Cup Black Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 Table Spoon of Kosher Salt
  • 75 g Chocolate Chips

 

Directions:

  1. Add the drained and rinsed chickpeas to a blender and add all ingredients except the chocolate chips and cocoa powder and blend until smooth.
  2. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 350F and grease the baking dish and line with parchment paper. 
  3. Add a majority of the chocolate chips and scoop half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread it as evenly as possible.
  4. Mix the other half with the cocoa powder and drizzle all over. Use a fork to mix both batters together
  5. Top it up with the rest of the chocolate chips 
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, then allow the brownies to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Chill in the refrigerator for another hour or until completely cooled. If you’re storing for longer than an hour, cover the pan before chilling.
